Standing at 5'10" and weighing in at 350 lbs, Capt. Lou Albano was one of the most legendary managers in wrestling history. Known as an over-the-top showman who always got a reaction from the crowd, Albano managed some of the real legends of the business like Don Muraco, The Iron Sheik, Superfly Jimmy Snuka, Pat Patterson, the British Bulldogs, the Wild Samoans, and the great Andre the Giant.
But despite his extensive wrestling background, Albano deserves recognition for his work outside the squared-circle. He appeared in numerous movies (although few were successful), played "Dad" in the Cyndi Lauper "Girls Just Want to Have Fun" video, and played Mario Mario in the live action segments of the Super Mario Bros. TV show (see below).
So Capt. Lou, here's to you and your obesity.

I have been in a long running argument about the existence of this show. People don't believe me when I talk about it, now I have proof. Practice begins Tues. the 18th 530pm.
