Today's SAll-Star is actually a combo: Trey Parker and Matt Stone.
The creative minds behind South Park launched their 12th season of the Comedy Central show last night with great success. This makes it the 3rd longest running animated show in history after only The Simpsons and Fat Albert. And in terms of writing brilliance, it is a show few can match (I'd say only The Simpsons can rival it in terms of excellence and longevity).
Simply put, Parker and Stone are creative geniuses who have been under-appreciated for so long simply because they enjoy a good fart joke. Their credits also include South Park: Bigger, Longer, and Uncut, Team America: World Police, and Baseketball.
